So here's the story. Had the chance for a late weekend afternoon lunch. Decided to sit at the bar. Lo and behold Alexandro was working the bar! Ladies and gentlemen if you're like me and feel the server is an integral part of the dining experience then he is by far the most truly empathetic fellow foodie you'll meet. Of course I had my elk burger and of course it was perfect but the experience was truly enhanced by Alejandro, a server who does what he does because he enjoys people and is truly a gem!

I don't know why they have such low reviews but we always have a good time here! The staff is always so nice, they have a great happy hour and weekly specials, and it's just a chill environment.

We found this place by accident and so glad we did. We are on a limited diet currently (health reasons) and sometimes restaurants don't offer options that work. But Red Rooster has a large menu and they were great at answering questions and recommending items. We tried their gluten free pizza. It was small but so full of flavor. The restaurant has 2-3 fireplaces although none were on during our visit, it was still lovely. We look forward to more visits.

I went to The Red Rooster for the first time recently, and was very satisfied! The inside is decorated with a barn theme, so it has a very rustic feel. There's a large bar in the center of the main dining room with a lot of seating. I thought the food was very good. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp with Raspberry Cream Sauce for an appetizer and it was delicious! I've never had coconut shrimp served with a raspberry sauce before, but it was a great combination. For my main meal I order the Baked Mac & Cheese, which was also delicious! It came with crumbled Ritz Crackers (or something similar) on top. I found the portion sizes to be fairly large. Lastly, I thought the service was excellent! My server was attentive and consistently checked on my table (though they weren't very busy at the time). Overall, I had a great experience at The Red Rooster. I thought the prices were a little high for pub/bar food, but I would still go back!

Red Rooster is a great local restaurant, good for families or some drinks at the huge bar. They get incredibly busy at times, especially weekend nights, but they always seem to keep up with the volume. The staff is well-trained to play their parts, so drinks come from a runner, food comes from a kitchen runner, and our waiter stopped by regularly to check in and put in requests. I've eaten here quite a few times. Their menu has all kinds of options, but burgers and pizzas seem to be the main attractions. They have many of both, and from the several I've tried they were all pretty good. Only drawback is that the burgers can be messy. (Not sure that's a bad thing?) This visit we had a meat lovers and a Buffalo chicken pizza. The sauce on the chicken was very good, spicier than others I've had. The meat lovers was delicious, but all that meat made the crust a little floppy. All in, it's a great bar/restaurant for reliable food.
